Poldark, Fortitude i Luther també es candidaten a diversos premis
Wolf Hall ha aconseguit sis nominacions als premis Bafta TV Craft d'enguany.
Els premis celebren el talent entre bastidors a través de vint categories diferents amb el drama històric de la BBC guanyant nominacions, entre d'altres, per al disseny de vestuari, fotografia i il·luminació (que hauria de silenciar els crítics que deien que les escenes amb espelmes eren massa fosques i tèrboles).
El thriller de Sky Atlantic, basat en l'Àrtic, Fortitude, s'aixeca amb quatre asentiments, igual que el drama d'espionatge de BBC2 London Spy i la fantasia màgica de BBC1 Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell.
The Is England ’90, l'últim capítol de l'spin-off de Channel 4 de Shane Meadows de la seva pel·lícula homònima del 2006, té tres premis, així com l'ambiciós The Sound of Music Live d'ITV!
Poldark, favorit dels fans, ha aconseguit dues nominacions per a BBC1, una per a disseny de vestuari, l'altra per a música original, així com Luther (títols i escriptor) i Doctor Foster (escriptor i so, ficció).
Les nominacions a l'escriptura van a Sharon Horgan i Rob Delaney per a la comèdia de relacions C4 Catastrophe, mentre que Doctor Who (especials, gràfics visuals i efectes), The Apprentice i I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! també característica.
BAFTA ha anunciat que la reconeguda directora de càsting Nina Gold rebrà el Premi Especial a la cerimònia. Gold està sent reconeguda pel seu extens treball en una àmplia gamma de produccions, com ara Game of Thrones, Wolf Hall, London Spy i The Fall. És la primera vegada que el Premi Especial es lliura a un director de càsting.
